Opinel No. 09 DIY Multifunction Knife, Yellow
The Opinel No. 09 D.I.Y. Knife has a surprisingly wide range of features: it can cut through many materials, of course. It can strip wires and cut strapping with the built-in blade notches. It can even drive screws — just insert the flathead or Phillips head bit in the magnetic slot at the knife's base.
The resin handle on this knife is unusual for an Opinel, which are usually made of wood. It's designed to withstand exposure to water and extreme temperatures without warping, so this is a great tool for tough environments.
This knife includes Opinel's patented Virobloc® safety ring, which can lock your blade in place while open (for stability and safe cutting) or while closed (so it doesn't open accidentally while using the screwdriver or carrying the knife around.)
Note the "INOX" marking on the blade; that's short for inoxydable, which means 'stainless' in French. This knife is made from Sandvik 12C27 stainless steel — an extremely high-quality Swedish alloy of steel, chrome, and no less than 0.40% carbon content for sharpness. It resists corrosion and stays sharp for a long time, so it's a great choice for everyday use.

How quickly will my order ship?
Our St. Louis warehouse team is pretty speedy! We generally ship orders within one business day of receiving them. You'll receive a tracking number by email as soon as your order's packed and out the door.
