Raphaël is a world-renowned brushmaker, and we're pleased to offer a wide range of their handmade artist brushes. With all the sizes and shapes, many artists wonder where they should start, and this hand-picked bundle is our answer!
Our Raphaël Essential Watercolor Brushes bundle contains five short-handled brushes, covering the full range of sizes and shapes needed for painting on watercolor pads up to 12" x 16". We've included three Raphaël Precision brushes, with synthetic sable tips that are perfect for lines, curves, and details. Also included are two Raphaël Softaqua brushes, with lush imitation squirrel tips, for washes and soft gradients.
Particularly notable is the Softaqua Quill #2, a large and soft brush with a classic wire binding that allows much greater absorbency and color release. For many watercolorists, a quill brush is the tool of choice for all kinds of different tasks, because it can make very fine marks with its tip or very wide marks when pressed down against the paper.
Both Precision and Softaqua brushes are made with synthetic fibers only, so this bundle is also suitable for vegans.

How quickly will my order ship?
Our St. Louis warehouse team is pretty speedy! We generally ship orders within one business day of receiving them. You'll receive a tracking number by email as soon as your order's packed and out the door.
How long will it take to arrive?
We offer shipping estimates for each order at checkout. Please note that these are only our system's best guess — there are many factors that may affect shipping time.
Generally speaking, our parcels take about 2-3 business days to travel to most U.S. addresses once they are shipped.
In a hurry? We offer expedited shipping options, including overnight shipping, at checkout.

Do you accept returns?
Yes — we accept returns of unopened, undamaged items within 30 days of receipt.
