Silver Mica Ink, 60 mL
This bright metallic ink from Kuretake is one of the shiniest art materials we've ever seen. Designed for use with dip pens and brushes, it's the best option on the market for liquid metallic ink. It's thick enough to coat the pen or brush for even, opaque application, and when you use less ink, you can create transparent metallic washes.
Kuretake Silver Mica Ink is acrylic-based. It can be used on top of watercolor paintings, but we don't recommend layering watercolor on top of this ink, since watercolor doesn't adhere to acrylic.
Please note that mica settles, and this ink works best when mixed before use. Shake vigorously for 30 seconds. You'll know the ink is well mixed when it looks completely silver through the plastic and none of the milky acrylic binder is visible in the open bottle. There's a ball bearing in the bottom to make shaking the bottle more effective.

How quickly will my order ship?
Our St. Louis warehouse team is pretty speedy! We generally ship orders within one business day of receiving them. You'll receive a tracking number by email as soon as your order's packed and out the door.
How long will it take to arrive?
We offer shipping estimates for each order at checkout. Please note that these are only our system's best guess — there are many factors that may affect shipping time.
Generally speaking, our parcels take about 2-3 business days to travel to most U.S. addresses once they are shipped.
In a hurry? We offer expedited shipping options, including overnight shipping, at checkout.

Do you accept returns?
Yes — we accept returns of unopened, undamaged items within 30 days of receipt.
